15 Biggest Losers In WWE SummerSlam History
9. Marty Jannetty (4 Losses)
Still, at least things aren’t as bad for Broken Matt as they are
for Marty Jannetty.
The former Rocker is the sixth and final member of the overcrowded four loss club but, unlike the rest of his peers, he doesn’t have a single win to his name!
So it’s 0-4 for Jannetty at SummerSlam. We’ve already touched upon the first two losses in that record; the first in 1989 as Jannetty teamed with Shawn Michaels and Tito Santana against Rick Martel and the Fabulous Rougeaus, and the second in 1990, again with Michaels in his corner, this time versus Hercules and Paul Roma.
1993 saw him branching out as a single competitor, but the result remained the same; Ludvig Borga proving too strong as he forced Jannetty to submit. Then his final attempt at a change of fortune came in 1996 as he formed the New Rockers with Leif Cassidy (who'd later become known as Al Snow).
Unsurprisingly, though, that didn’t work out so well - they were the second team pinned in a tag team elimination match, bringing down the curtain on a forgettable SummerSlam career for Jannetty.
