It's almost strange to see Sable mentioned as a Hall Of Famer, isn't it? The first things that come to mind when you think of Sable are that she's married to Brock Lesnar, that she wasn't a very good wrestler, and that she didn't mind taking her clothes off. None of which truly justify being a WWE Hall Of Famer, but it goes a lot further than just the face value with this one. Her not having any problems taking her clothes off actually did benefit the WWF, because her two Playboy pictorials (she had three, but the second one came after she had quit the company) were huge sellers, giving her and the company all sorts of major mainstream publicity. She was a huge star, and the Playboy appearances only made that star brighter. Go back and watch old episodes of Raw from around 1999, or the pay-per-views that she was on... you could say that her crowd reactions rivaled that of just about anyone, male or female, in all of wrestling. Her heel catchphrase of "This is for all the women who want to be me and all the men who come to see me" was pretty accurate... the women in the crowds did wish they were Sable, and the men in the crowds would have sold their children to get a chance to talk to her. Not everyone is in the Hall Of Fame because of their amazing technical wrestling ability, so her not being that great a worker matters none, although she can say that she has a reign as the WWF Women's Champion. Only 33 women in history can say they've ever held that title, and four of them aren't even officially recognized by the company in their title lineage. For helping to take the women of the company to new heights, Sable is certainly deserving of a Hall induction.
