13. Straight Edge Society Lays Out Mysterio - Smackdown 2/12/10

The night started off well enough for Rey Mystero, as he would defeat CM Punk in a very solid match. Mysterio picked up some great momentum on the road to Elimination Chamber, but as was typically the case at the time, losing didn't sit well with Punk and his group and they sought about avenging it. It took roughly five seconds from after the bell rang for Luke Gallows to enter the ring and damn near knock Rey's head off with a clothesline from behind. While Mysterio was struggling to get back to his feet the Straight Edge Society member was more than happy to assist him, picking him straight up and nailing a huge back breaker. Serena was more than happy to contribute to the cause as well, delivering a huge kick to Mysterio's ribs as he was crawling around the ring, scrambling for something like safety. Finally, it was Punk's turn as he taunted the downed luchador with offers to 'save' him. Punk went to pick Mysterio up but decided it wasn't worth his effort and had Gallows lift Rey and place him on a crouched Punks shoulders, leading to a devastating Go To Sleep, an exclamation point on a powerful segment.
