12. Spike Dudley Defeats Booker T - Smackdown 2/14/02

As was the case every time Spike Dudley entered the ring he was looked at as more of a joke than a legitimate threat. Booker T certainly felt the same as he was shown backstage talking with tag team partner Test about how easy his upcoming match against one half of the Tag Team Champions would be. Booker was so confident of a simple victory that he told Test he didn't need him at ringside for this one as it's just little Spike Dudley. Once the match got underway Booker appeared to be accurate in his assessment. Spike was thoroughly dominated at the outset of the match, falling victim to multiple kicks and vicious whips into the corner turnbuckle. The littlest Dudley would try to mount a comeback but that was quickly squashed by a salty Booker T clothesline. Booker would go for a pin but lift up Spike's head to keep the match going leading to an Axe Kick, Spinarooni, and jumping side kick to just about knock LSD out. Booker had the match won but would lift up Spike's head again, feeling as though enough damage hadn't been done just yet. Lifting Spike up in the corner, he went for a superplex and nailed it. Spike showed why he was a champion at this point, as he would use Booker T's momentum against him rolling him up in a small package immediately after the impact. Spike got the shocking three count without getting a single move in offensively and high-tailed it out of there.
