15 Biggest WWE Pay Per View Buyrates Of All Time

11. WrestleMania 26, 885,000 Buys

In some ways it is surprising that WrestleMania 26 only did slightly more buys than Mania X8. Coming in 2010 the WWE had fully realised the power of the Mania brand and later events had started to consistently hit big buy numbers. Mania 26 was a relative drop off, which is a bit of a shock when you consider it was built around the rematch of the greatest contest of all time - Michaels Vs Undertaker. Still, 885,000 is hardly a disappointing number, you just might have expected it to be bigger. The show also featured Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon (which should have been the biggest story ever) and John Cena winning the WWE title from Batista (which was the two biggest stars of the last five years going one on one). There was also Chris Jericho vs Edge and a Money In The Bank Ladder match. On paper it looks a loaded card, but admittedly it wasn't that great on the night, although Michaels vs Taker did very nearly top their first effort from a year previous.
