15 Bizarre Wrestling Gimmicks You Won't Believe Happened More Than Once

3. Leprechaun

Hornswoggle is undoubtedly the most famous leprechaun in wrestling history. He's been a fixture on WWE television for nearly a decade, including runs as both cruiserweight champion and general manager of Raw. Granted, both of these are pretty much low points for WWE as a whole, it's difficult to not regard them as career highlights for a guy who debuted as a literal feral dwarf that Finlay would throw at people. Hornswoggle, however, is not the ONLY leprechaun in wrestling history. DeWayne Bruce, better known as WCW PowerPlant trainer Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker, also briefly served in the Dungeon of Doom as the nefarious Braun the Leprechaun.
Now, Sarge was admittedly short for a wrestler, but at 5'10" he was apparently the Great Khali of leprechauns. Perhaps that's why he was swiftly repackaged as Jack Boot: Military Man, and you can be the judge of whether or not that's an improvement over "really tall dwarf."
