Basically, he'd hoist you up in a fireman's carry and rotate at (relatively) high speed before dropping you. Dizzy and disoriented, you'd then be pinned. These days, the airplane spin still makes an occasional appearance, but almost never as a finishing move. Cesaro has occasionally used an Argentine rack variation in which he spins fast enough that he can go hands-free, and Daniel Bryan did it frequently on the indies. In fact, Bryan probably the last wrestler to score a victory with the move after hitting a record-breaking 100-plus rotation version on Homicide in 2005.
