14. CM Punk Calls A Fan A Homo

CM Punk was a certified heat magnet back in the summer of 2011. He was one of the most despised men on the roster and was a master at winding up ringside fans. There are many videos online of Punk getting so much heat that it looks like a mini riot could break out at any second.

But Punk took things a step too far in trying to incite fans to boo him during an July 7th house show in Adelaide, Australia. Picking on a couple of ringside hecklers, Punk unleashed the following:

'That's right, I do only pick on women, that's why I'm picking on you two jerks right now! You have a vagina! You have a vagina! Nice faux-hawk, you homo!'

Punk is not a homophobic person and has frequently expressed his support for same-sex marriage via Twitter and media interviews. It was a slip of the tongue during a heated exchange. Punk issued an apology soon after, saying:

I'm glad TMZ posted that video because everybody needs to be held accountable for their bulls***, me included. What I said was bulls***... I'm embarrassed. I own up to being a total douche in this situation and I offer a sincere apology to anybody I hurt with careless words.
