10. Vince McMahon Stops Match Because He Finds It 'Boring'

Wrestlers probably look forward to house shows because, as well as having more creative freedom than they do at TV/PPV, they also realise that if they mess up, only those in the arena are likely to see it happen. If they stink the join out it's not good, but it's not the end of the world, either. Just move onto the next town.

Except when Vince McMahon is watching.

Vinnie Mac was doing house show loops with the Smackdown crew in the summer of 2003 in an attempt to boost low ticket sales. So there was extra pressure on wrestlers. Before their match at the Nassau Coliseum on August 31st, Vince told Rhyno that he and Tajiri couldn't do anything wrong in their match and to just call it in the ring.

During their match, which went on seventh, the fans started chanting 'boring'. Rhyno, who had been told by a WWE road agent to put on a hold his opponent in this situation, did just that. When the fans continued to chant and Rhyno and Tajiri didn't react, Vince came out and stopped the match while it was in progress. Then he brought out Sable, Torrie Wilson, Nidia and Dawn Marie for a bikini contest.

It was a very embarrassing situation for Rhyno and Tajiri, who had worked with each other many times before and had good matches. Vince reportedly compensated Rhyno well after the match, which indicates that he must have felt bad as well.
