15 Craziest WWE Love Triangles

Wrestling is possibly the most testosterone-fuelled form of sport or entertainment in the world, with a plethora of oiled-up chunks of muscle looking to prove who is the best at wrestling other grown men in spandex underwear. Somewhere in between the head bashing and bicep lathering, there's still room in the world of giants for human nature's greatest virtue, love. If you think the scripted world of professional wrestling is going to have it's superstars sail into the sunset with a woman in their arms and recreate The Notebook, you're gonna have a bad time. While some love dramas result in the fairy tale finish, most love driven affairs in the landscape of sports entertainment tend not to end so well. Being the affair-having, money grabbing not-quite-right-in-the-head man that he is, Vince McMahon loves to throw his wrestlers (sorry, Superstars) into any situation he can earn a buck from, no matter how awkward. Sometimes though, these love triangles form organically through personal issues or certain off-screen affairs. From jealousy ridden partners to secret lovers, the WWE has produced some absolute doozies of romantic stories over it's prestigious history; but no love quarreled story line can compare to the triple threat of confusion, AKA the love triangle.

Who's Involved: Torrie Willson, Dawn Marie and...Torrie's father Al Willson? What Happened: In 2002 Torrie Willson began a feud with ECW alumni and WWE new girl, Dawn Marie. It all kicked off when Torrie began bringing her father Al to shows, so to get inside Willson's head Marie naturally decided to marry Al despite him being 29 years her senior. The craziness went on and on until Marie revealed that she actually had feelings for Torrie instead and would call off the wedding if Willson spent a night with her in a hotel room. The two scorching divas did share an on-air kiss but, despite that, Marie went through with the wedding anyway. Just to make the whole situation even more cringe worthy, Marie insisted that they marry while in their underwear, stripping down the senior citizen in the middle of the Smackdown ring on their wedding night. As if this wasn't enough, Al then suffered a heart attack which led to the story line death of Torrie's father due to the amount of sex they were having on their honeymoon. Torrie would win their blowoff match at the Royal Rumble 2003 in a "Stepmother vs Stepdaughter Match", thus ending the feud. Who Lost Out: Torrie Willson and the viewing audience, who had to witness this travesty of a half naked marriage and the ensuing hotel honeymoon segments.
