15 Most-Decorated WWE Wrestlers To Never Win A World Title
5. The Dudley Boyz
Titles Held: 8 World Tag Team Championships, 1 WWE Tag Team Championship, 1 WCW Tag Team Championship Total Title Days: 328 For all their titles, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley didnt manage to hold onto their gold once they won it. The most-decorated tag team in major wrestling promotions held WWF/E tag team titles for an average of about a month per reign. But that still doesnt dampen their reputation. The duo are the only tag team in professional wrestling to hold the WWF, WCW and ECW tag titles (though WCW was owned by WWF by that point). Theyve also held NWA, TNA and IWGP tag titles. The Dudleys tenure in WWE lasted about six years, during which they are most remembered for putting opponents and (back when it was allowed) women through tables, and of course for their three-way feud with the Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian. The six men had a series of TLC matches and other various contests that often stole the show. WWE tried to split them up during the Brand Extension in 2002, with Bubba Ray receiving a modest push and even fighting Triple H for his World Heavyweight Championship. That run, while brief, foreshadowed his later singles success in TNA. D-Von, on the other hand, flamed out in a preacher gimmick (along with his sidekick, Deacon Batista) and the duo would be reunited by years end and continue their successful run together.
