15 Most-Decorated WWE Wrestlers To Never Win A World Title
6. John Morrison
Titles Held: 1 ECW Championship, 3 Intercontinental Championships, 4 WWE Tag Team Championships, 1 World Tag Team Championships Total Title Days: 932 When you look at the names on this list, some scream mid-carder, while others will stand out as someone you wonder how he hasnt won a world championship. John Morrison is one guy who probably splits fans on those two sentiments. Morrison had the look and ability of a world champ, and he certainly was put in some high-profile spots during his six-plus years (if you dont count Morrisons first stint as Eric Bischoffs lackey) with WWE. But he never rose above the ECW and Intercontinental Championships. Morrison achieved a fair amount of tag team success as part of MNM under the Johnny Nitro moniker. MNM won three WWE Tag Team Championships before Nitro jumped to Raw and won two Intercontinental titles. After being drafted to ECW, he won that brands title and rechristened himself John Morrison. Morrison would have more tag team success with the Miz before embarking on a singles push that led some fans to predict a future world title run. And while he would produce some highlight reel-worthy spots and be inserted into some high-profile feuds, Morrison never could crack the top spot before leaving WWE at the end of 2011. Morrison clearly was a guy who WWE believed was a player he held a title for nearly 40 percent of the time he was on the roster but the company never was able to pull the trigger on a main-event push. At 35, Morrison is one of the few former WWE guys out there who could come back and make a major impact if handled properly. Its entirely possible he will get another shot at superstardom.
