14 Epic Hulk Hogan Moments WWE Just Wiped Out

15. Wrestlemania V Vs Randy Savage

Having been in the pipeline for almost 18 months with Savage's face turn for a Saturday Night's Main Event in October 1987, the explosive feud between the newly created Mega Powers was as fiery as the tag team were successful. Now imagine they never teamed up, Hogan never stepped in to help Savage beat Ted DiBiase at WrestleMania IV and the dream tag-team never fell apart. It's unthinkable. Without Hogan, the Mega Powers would have had a different line-up entirely, and Savage's face turn probably wouldn't have worked so well without Hulk's brand to back it up. Obviously, there would also not have been any cause for friction with Miss Elizabeth. That headline slot would probably have gone to Ultimate Warrior - the man pushed into the power vacuum when Hogan defected to Hollywood - with him still leap-frogging The Honky Tonk Man (as Savage himself was perceived to have done, at least by Honky Tonk) - and wrestling fans would have been robbed of one of the greatest, most personal WrestleMania bouts of all time.
