4. Seven Men Have Entered Number One More Than Once
Piggybacking the point made in the prior entry, we already know that Ziggler, Punk, and Miz each have been a Rumble starter twice. The fact that four other wrestlers have done the same thing does stretch the bounds of credibility a tad. After all, when out of 28 Rumbles, fourteen of them have kicked off with one of seven men as number one, that seems a wee bit unrealistic. The remainder of the list includes Bret Hart (1988 and 1991), Ric Flair (1993 and 2007), Shawn Michaels (1995 and 2003), and Triple H (1996 and 2006). In virtually every case, you can argue that putting a world-class worker in first ensures someone can expertly lead a chaotic, multi-layered match, and every name on this list (excepting Miz) has shown that capability.
