15 Fascinating WWE Royal Rumble Facts You Need To Know

12. Neither Has Razor Ramon

A deserved WWE Hall of Famer for his memorable work in two companies during the 1990s, Scott Hall's lone participation in any Royal Rumble match came in the form of interference. In the 1996 match, Razor Ramon angrily chased entry 1-2-3 Kid for costing him the Intercontinental belt earlier in the night. Other than that, as well as an appearance by the impostor Razor in 1997, the Rumble has always lacked authentic 'machismo'. Just like D-Von, Razor was exclusively used in other attractions at the Rumble, all of his for championships. In 1993, Razor lost a WWF World Championship match against titleholder Bret Hart. In the ensuing three years, Razor defended the Intercontinental gold against Irwin R. Schyster, Jeff Jarrett, and Goldust, respectively, prior to making history by jumping to WCW.
