5. The Debut Of B. Dazzle And Kurly Kane
For those of you not in the know, The JBL & Cole Show was an internet-only weekly sketch show, featuring JBL and Michael Cole (and Renee Young, when the two old hams let her get a word in edgeways) more or less compering a freewheeling five minutes of foolishness starring key members of the WWE mid-to-undercard. It was sometimes genuinely funny, sometimes painfully not. However, in every instance that Daniel Bryan appeared, the show was elevated to levels of genius through Bryan Danielsons fearsome commitment to making a complete spanner of himself on television. Amongst many other things, Bryan was intent on getting another nickname over on the JBL & Cole Show - The Dazzler. No, nobody knows why. Yes, its brilliant. Here, Daniel Bryan, angry young goat about town, is attempting to win a tournament-cum-talent-show by displaying hitherto unknown skills and abilities. Of course, hes still in character as a intensely bearded bundle of rage and spite, which is what makes the whole thing work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3jJMyRPNak B. Dazzles attempts at rapping are both tragic and wonderful, as are Kane's efforts as a beatboxer. If youre wondering why Hornswoggle gets kicked in the nuts, it was a running gag that occurred every other week for a long, long time. If, on the other hand, youre wondering about the brief flashback of him dressed as a bear well, read on.
