With a repertoire of snappy catchphrases and stinging verbal barbs, most of Jericho's personas have had a funny streak, except for perhaps his 'Best in the World' heel gimmick.

At the height of his powers during his run in WCW and his initial WWE run, Y2J had classic exchanges with The Rock, Stephanie McMahon and numerous other superstars. Jericho has a stage presence like few other stars in the WWE and incredible skills on the microphone. Some of his material may be a bit dated now, but at the time he had the audience in stitches.

If for nothing else, Jericho should place on this list for the infamous '1,004 Holds' promo he cut during an excellent feud in WCW with the Man of 1,000 Holds, Dean Malenko. Never has the phrase 'arm bar' been so funny.
