15 Great Wrestlers Lost In WWE's Mid-Card

4. Luke Harper

Since breaking free from the Wyatt Family last fall, Luke Harper has developed into one of the most consistently great workers on the current roster. His matches with Dolph Ziggler were bright spots amid the booking doldrums of last fall, the ladder match between the two at December's TLC pay-per-view excelling as one of the truly great matches of the second-half of 2014. After the IC title feud with the Showoff came to a close, Harper was relegated to WWE's Main Event and Superstars programs. While he occasionally appeared in main event Six-Man Tag Team matches, he was an afterthought, never really gaining anything from the exposure that competing in the headline match of Raw or SmackDown should. And after repeatedly delivering against stars from up and down the roster, be it Justin Gabriel or John Cena himself, Harper continues to wallow in the midcard. At a time when WWE is bereft of legitimate main event heels, resorting to pushing Kane and Big Show to the dismay of everyone, it is incredibly disheartening to see someone as talented as Harper, who continuously delivers, wasted on such meaningless schlock.
