15 Greatest Heel Moments At WrestleMania

7. Jericho The Spoil Sport - WrestleMania XIX

Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels was one of the best matches in Wrestlemania history. Shawn Michaels represented the beloved face, transformed from his questionable past into a loving, thankful man of God. Jericho represented the arrogant heel, determined to defeat the legend he once idolized and show the world it was his time. The two put on a clinic, a fast paced technical match complete with counters, near falls and high flying. The match ended in dramatic fashion with Jericho countering Sweet Chin Music into the Walls of Jericho which Michaels would free himself of. Michaels would then counter a suplex into a roll-up for the 3 count besting the man whom thought he was the best in his prime. Afterwards Jericho, beaten by his idol, would shake Shawn Michaels hand as a sign of respect in the middle of the ring. During the handshake Jericho would give Michaels a low blow out of anger and frustration demonstrating to the world that he was disgusted with the result and a sore loser, creating one of the more memorable heel moments in Wrestlemania history in stark contrast to the typical signs of sportsmanship and respect shown at the event.
