15 Greatest Heel Moments At WrestleMania

6. Bundy Squashes Jones In '9' Seconds - WrestleMania

In many ways King Kong Bundy is representative of the typical 1980's heel. Massive, aggressive, and downright scary King Kong Bundy made his Wrestlemania debut at the inaugural Wrestlemania. Bundy with his then manager the 'Mouth of the South' Jimmy Hart was set to take on Special Delivery Jones a babyface. The match was set a record ending in '9' seconds (actually more like 24, but hey who's counting) and consisted of a quick King Kong Bundy bear hug into the turnbuckle, followed by an avalanche into the turnbuckle and splash. This left the fans and audience at home in shock and awe as King Kong Bundy destroyed Jones. This is the best example of a classic 'squash' match in Wrestlemania history. The match helped serve the greater purpose of establishing King Kong Bundy as a monster heel whom would go on a run to eventually face Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania II. While it was by no means a classic the match represents one of the best heel moments in Wrestlemania history with the fresh faced monster Bundy laying waste to the longer tenured Jones in a decisive fashion.
