15 Greatest TNA Finishing Moves Ever

7. A.J. Styles - Styles Clash

When you think of TNA alumni, there’s a good chance that A.J. Styles is the first name to pop-up in your mind. Sure he’s a WWE guy right now, but for years he was one of the top stars of Impact Wrestling. He’s also one of the best wrestlers in the world, and has developed a huge arsenal of moves that very few people on the planet can execute as well as he can.

Style’s offense is varied, with a couple of fantastic finishers that he can pull off. The most famous one he's used is The Styles Clash. The move works well for him, as it doesn’t take a lot of strength to pull off, can be used on almost any opponent and no one else in any of the top promotions in the United States are currently using it. He has made the move his own.

The Clash is a bit of an awkward set-up, as he holds his opponent upside down and then has to move his legs over their arms, but Styles is so fluid in his movements that he makes it work. As we've seen, though, it can be a bit dangerous as numerous opponents have been injured by it. But when he executes it just right, it's a fantastic way to end a match.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
