15 Greatest TNA Finishing Moves Ever

10. Abyss - Blackhole Slam

The Blackhole Slam is essentially a Bossman Slam, except with more of a twisted spin to it.

Abyss has been with the company since the early days, and has picked up a variety of impressive power moves over the years to punish his victims. His Shock Treatment looks downright vicious, but rarely is it enough to earn him a pinfall. It’s the Blackhole Slam that has become his trademark move, and the one that sends his opponents into an abyss of unconsciousness.

The move is at its best when he hits a smaller opponent with it while they're running at him full speed. From there, Abyss lifts them off the ground, and is able to spin around a bit before slamming them into the mat with force.

Impressively, the monster has also been able to connect with the move when his opponent isn’t running at him. He just lifts them up, and throws them right into the ground...or onto glass...or thumbtacks as he's been known to do on occasion. Abyss has shown the Black Hole Slam to be surprisingly versatile by hitting it from a variety of situations, each way connecting with tremendous effect.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
