15 Hidden Meanings Behind WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Attires

While the Jackass star opted for red over blue, Johnny Knoxville's Royal Rumble attire looked like a clear tribute to the most important mainstream celebrity to ever infiltrate pro wrestling, Andy Kaufman.

The long-sleeved white shirt, white tights, and flashes of colour made it. Not only was this Knoxville's attempt at presenting himself as an interloper who doesn't really belong in a wrestling ring (a la Kaufman), but a nod to history as well. Kaufman walked so that every other celeb to work a wrestling match could run.

Kaufman's iconic Memphis feud with Jerry 'The King' Lawler is an all-timer, and the benchmark for this kind of thing. Knoxville's Rumble run wasn't, particularly that head bump on the outside, though his efforts were appreciated.
