15 HUGE WWE WrestleMania 37 Predictions You Need To Know
4. Asuka (c) Vs. Rhea Ripley
It may not seem it due to the hairdryer tones of the piped-in ThunderDome cheers and jeers, but Rhea Ripley's Monday Night Raw run so far has probably been quite effective in taking her character in a fresh direction after a rotten 2020.
This time last year, she was so nervous about the size of the WrestleMania stage that she lost her Women's Championship. 12 months later and she wants to win another one and is doing things very differently. This is growth. Admittedly, Ripley's not yet the safest on the microphone delivering WWE's over-scripted verbiage, but her actions have spoke louder than her words, and they've all been about erasing what had gone very very wrong.
Asuka's been the unfortunate victim of these attacks, both sneak and otherwise, but the Raw Women's Champion had been booked pathetically since late 2020. This at very least ensured her WrestleMania programme would be heated on the big night, and she'll still be remembered as one of the pandemic's most vital performers even if she loses on the first step back to normal.
Winner - Rhea Ripley
