10. Omos Vs Bobby Lashley

As last minute as it got to ensure Bobby Lashley was physically able and Omos still felt hot following the mundane conclusion to the AJ Styles partnership, brevity should help the match as much as it did the build.

Answering Omos’ open challenge, Lashley’s return confirmed a babyface turn that had been foreshadowed earlier in the year ahead of what most assume will be another run at the WWE/Universal Championship for ‘The All-Mighty’.

He took the giant down on the go-home confrontation, and he’ll submit him for the first time on the ‘Show Of Shows’.

It doesn’t bode super well for Omos, but very little has since his limitations were exposed by this singles run. There’s still time and WWE should show patience, but doing this stuff away from mainstream glare in NXT might service the former tag team champion before he’s next used in such a prominently featured role.
