15 Interpromotional WWE Dream Matches We Need To See In 2016
12. Seth Rollins (WWE) Vs. Jay Lethal (ROH)
At first, I couldn't believe that this match never happened in ROH, but I guess Lethal never really crossed paths with Tyler Black. In either case, both men have improved exponentially since those early days, and both men are currently the top champions of their respective promotions. Even more impressively, both men reigned as double champions earlier this year. Granted, neither one was able to hold onto both long term, but the image of the dual champion standing triumphant will be a lasting one. The tale of the tape is one of two evenly-matched competitors. Theres almost no difference in their height, weight, age or experience. Both men have been ROH World Champion as well winners of the annual Survival of the Fittest tournament. Seth Rollins held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Roman Reigns, while Lethal reigned as TNA tag champ when that was impressive. Rollins has a definite edge in prestige, having closed out a WrestleMania as champion, but Jay Lethal has, uh, two working legs. What Should Happen: There's a double pin and they somehow win each other's titles.
