15 Interpromotional WWE Dream Matches We Need To See In 2016

13. Dolph Ziggler (WWE) Vs. Kazuchika Okada (NJPW)

WWE and Dolph Ziggler spent a long time painting the Showoff as the fastest-rising star of the company, but it's been a decade, and, uh, we're still waiting for that rise to really happen. Dolph's never quite been able to break through; he's had a very hard time maintaining momentum, and he's had the lamest world title reigns this side of Christian. Conversely, Kazuchika Okada had a spectacular meteoric rise. After a disappointing run in TNA as Samoa Joe's sidekick, Okada reinvented himself as the Rainmaker and quickly became a fixture of the IWGP Title scene. This would be a chance for Ziggler to prove himself against a champion at the top of his game, while Okada would have to contend with a very skilled opponent with the best qualities of a young gun and a wily veteran. Ziggler having the edge in experience but Okada balancing that with youth and size creates a very interesting dynamic. What Should Happen: A great back-and-forth contest that ends with Dolph Ziggler doing two full rotations in mid-air to sell a Rainmaker.
