15 Longest Times Spent In A Royal Rumble Match

2. Chris Benoit - 1:01:35 (2004)

Now the 2004, that was a good Royal Rumble match. After a rushed and disappointing undercard it was up to the Rumble itself to save the show and it did so in a big, big way. Chris Benoit became only the second person in history after Shawn Michaels in 1995 to win the Rumble after entering at number one. Benoit was entered first by evil Smackdown GM Paul Heyman but overcame the odds to win the thing and book his place in the main event of WrestleMania, last eliminating the gargantuan Big Show. Benoit's feat is more impressive than HBK's since the 1995 Rumble only lasted thirty eight minutes after some genius decided that there should be sixty second intervals. WWE cannot mention Benoit's win (for obvious reasons) and, luckily for them, there is one superstar who lasted longer in the Rumble than even The Rabid Wolverine.
