Seth Rollins was one of the MVPs of the 2014 Royal Rumble match. It was Rollins' first Rumble match appearance, after performing a run-in on The Rock during his World Title match with CM Punk at the 2013 event. Rollins entered the match at number two and squared off with number one entrant Punk in a decent opening sequence. He was a constant fixture during the match and helped Roman Reigns set the the all-time elimination record while teaming up with his Shield brothers. Of course Rollins (along with Dean Ambrose) was also eliminated by the mighty Reigns, sewing the seeds for the inevitable breakup of The Shield later in the year. Unfortunately for Rollins, he won't be able to try and top his Rumble performance from last year as he's not entered into the match but he does have a pretty decent consolation prize: a triple threat WWE Championship match with John Cena and Brock Lesnar.
