Outlasting Rollins by forty whole seconds was CM Punk, the number one entrant in the 2014 Rumble. It was an iron man performance by the worn-down Punk, his last in a WWE ring. Punk was eliminated by a returning Kane (whom Punk had eliminated earlier) to set up a mini feud that never was. Punk was so fed up with WWE that he left the company the following night, completely unsatisfied with the creative direction of his character and the fact that he received a concussion during the Rumble match but was told by WWE employees that he needed to wrestle that night. If this is Punk's last appearance in a WWE ring (smart money says it won't be) then it was certainly a good performance to go out on.
