15 Mid 90s WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember
9. The Rock 'N Roll Express (1993-1994 & 1998)
The equivalent of watching Ric Flair and the nWo debut in WWE in 2002 was the mindf**k of seeing NWA stalwarts the Rock 'N Roll Express running down the aisles in the WWF at Survivor Series 1993, and as a part of the ill-fated NWA resurrection angle in 1998. As a part of Smoky Mountain Wrestling's talent sharing deal with the WWF, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson wrestled the Heavenly Bodies a few times in the WWF. Also, the duo were a major part of the early era of Shotgun Saturday Night, where most of the NWA angle was carried out after it faded from Raw broadcasts.
