15 Most Notoriously Unstable Wrestling Stars

10. X-Pac

x-pac Like a few of the entries on this list, Sean Waltman seems to have found some solace and sobriety in recent times and this a great thing. Because based off how wild he was for a period of years there, he can consider himself fortunate to still have some bridges unburned, and a life to lead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XYABKd5UGo Waltman had a very troubled background that included neglect and sexual abuse from a young age, so the fact that he suffered in later years from depression and substance abuse is hardly a surprise. Perhaps as unsurprising as the fact that someone with such a horrendous background would lack stability, it seems that most of Waltman€™s real drug and legal problems actually occurred after his peak in the early 2000s WWE. In those ensuing years he has jumped around organisations, having being fired and having quit because of his unstable nature. He has attempted suicide twice, been into rehab countless times for all kinds of drug addictions, and in later years while wrestling in Mexico turned to drinking heavily. And of course, he was involved with Joanie Laurer and there was that infamous sex tape he understandably feels a huge amount of shame for. Waltman€™s discussion on JR€™s podcast is a very eye opening window into the thoughts and dramas of a man often disparaged and criticised by wrestling fans, and we recommend that anyone interested in hearing more about the chaotic life of Sean Waltman give it a listen and perhaps have a think about re-evaluating their stance on the man himself €“ because his life really is one hell of a story.
