This quote could just be sour grapes on Lesnar's part over the supposed back-stabbing. Then again, there is probably some truth to Vince and Hunter seeing Angle in that way. However, they did push Angle strong for years, and his promos were some of the best in the business. He was definitely more than just an in-ring ace. In many ways, he was a way more rounded and better performer than Lesnar.
