Going into WrestleMania X, Bret Hart was already set to face the winner of the Lex Luger/Yokozuna championship match later in the night, and to make it fair, he wrestled a second match that night as well, in the opener against his brother, Owen. Fans thought it would be a foregone conclusion that the older and more experienced Bret would defeat Owen. Toward the end of the match, Bret tried to go for a victory roll, similar to how he won the King of the Ring tournament the year prior. However, Owen sat down on Bret as he rolled through, and got the clean win. The moment was so shocking, nobody looked more shocked than Owen himself.
