15 Most Surprising WWE Veterans

5. Zack Ryder - 11 Years

Zack Ryder first wrestled for WWE in 2005, as a jobber on Smackdown. A decade later, nothing has really changed. His contract was officially signed in 2006, and he did a stint in developmental before working in ECW and Smackdown in 2007. An entertaining character, he was never really that good as a wrestler, meaning that WWE only ever seen him as an enhancement talent. He did get a bit of a push off the back of social media presence, but that quickly died down and fans have perceived him for years now as a low profile jobber. Due to that insignificant status, some are amazed that he's managed to last with the company so long. Far from being on the chopping block, he could actually consider himself a veteran.
