15 Most Surprising WWE Veterans

4. Jack Swagger - 10 Years

Six years ago, Jack Swagger won WWE's World Championship. It still feels like yesterday, and because his career has had no progress since, it doesn't really feel like he's either a former champion or a veteran of the company. But he is a WWE veteran, having first wrestled a match for the company back in 2006. He was stationed in developmental, and there were very high hopes for him. Indeed, upon arriving in ECW during 2008, he very quickly became the champion of the brand. Two years after that, came his World Title victory. Sadly for him, the company quickly lost interest in him, as he failed to progress in the way they expected. He became deadwood, especially after he blew his WrestleMania 29 push with a DUI during the build to his World title shot. Since then, it is surprising that he has survived with the company, with 2016 being his decade anniversary. Against the odds, he's made it to company veteran status.
