15 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 38

2. Another ‘Stone Cold’ Match?

Steve Austin's WWE comeback was exactly what it needed to be. Exactly no-one who tuned into 'Mania for it would've figured a technical classic was coming their way. This was kick, punch, brawl, Stunner and stall all the way, and the whole exercise turned out to be a success.

There's no way Vince McMahon didn't pull his old rival aside behind the curtain on Saturday night and ask if he'd be up for doing more. The merch sales on that 'Austin 3:16' shirt would've been insane (again), and there's more money to be made if Steve agrees to a few more dream matches.

Also, Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, some fans out there hate the thought of this, but Austin is a businessman. If WWE are willing to pay him millions for more brawls like this, and one of them just so happens to be on the next international trip, then why would he say no?
