15 New WWE Talk Show Concepts For 2021 (5 For Each Brand)
7. The Palace of Wisdom
Sometimes, WWE's presentation is... odd. Case in point, some of the better entertainment being on the website rather than during weekly programming.
Throughout 2009-10, John Morrison was slowly gaining traction as one of the bigger fan favorites on the roster with some (your writer included) rooting for a run with the WWE and/or World Championship. Around the same time, Morrison was also hosting a weekly segment on WWE.com called the Palace of Wisdom, featuring all of the wonderfully stupid humor we've come to expect from him in the years that followed. With occasional assistance from the likes of Tommy Dreamer and the late Howard Finkel, Morrison would regularly skewer opponents (usually The Miz or Drew McIntyre) with his screwball antics.
The original concept wouldn't require much tweaking beyond moving the show to an actual set. The Palace would feature all manner of psychedelia, mirrored walls, dream catchers, etc. while delving into interpretations of the inner workings of his rival's minds. Given that the Dirt Sheet is a shell of its former self, this buffoonery would absolutely have a place on the WWE Network if not during RAW or SmackDown itself.
