The Charismatic Enigma has a dreadful record when it comes to SummerSlam.

Not only was Hardy’s last ever WWE PPV appearance a losing effort against CM Punk at SummerSlam 2009, he also walked out defeated from all 4 of his other SummerSlam bouts.

In fairness to Jeff, he’s been involved in 3 highly memorable SummerSlam battles, but he’s always come out on the losing side. Those particular 3 matches were the first ever TLC match in 2000, a Hardcore Title Ladder Match again Rob Van Dam in 2001, and then the aforementioned Punk TLC match at the 2009 event.

Less notable were his 2 other losses; a 1999 Tag Team Turmoil Match and then a straight-up singles loss to MVP in 2008.

In fact, the only reason Jeff isn’t at #3 on this list is because 2 of his defeats involved tag team efforts, so he gets a little leeway in comparison to his competition.
