15 Terrible Matches Triple H Wants You To Forget

15. Triple H Vs. Jim Ross - Raw, April 2005

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7tdnv_jim-ross-vs-triple-h_sport Poor old Jim Ross. WWE seemed to thrive on placing him in uncomfortable or embarrassing situations, making sure to pencil in an especially embarrassing degradation whenever the company stopped by Ross' beloved Oklahoma. WWE also made a point of rinsing JR when Raw emanated from Madison Square Garden on April 18th, 2005. The sole purpose of the JR/Triple H match seemed to be for The Cerebral Assassin to beat the hell out of Good 'ol Jr. You couldn't even really call it a match. It was a massacre. At one point, Triple H seemed to catch Ross with a potato punch to the eye, causing the commentator to bleed and have a black eye. It also caused him vision problems in the future. Triple H seemed to be having the time of his life out there, beating on Ross (Vince McMahon must have been howling with laughter in Gorilla, too). This was in keeping with his heel character, but it was rumoured that Triple H took liberties as a result of heat between him and Ross stemming from perceived low payoffs and contract lowballing when Ross was head of Talent Relations. The amazing thing about the match was that after absorbing the a**kicking, JR actually won, thanks to interference from Batista. The match sucked, though, and had no place main eventing Raw (or any show, for that matter). The loud 'boring' chants said it all.
