15 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast

3. Who Does He Consider The Next Shawn Michaels?

Steve asks if there's anyone currently on the scene or coming up in NXT that Shawn views as potentially the next HBK, or someone who has a ton of potential that they just need to realize, He immediately names Seth Rollins as one of those people, as well as Dolph Ziggler. He says he likes Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt, adding that he's not his style but when watching his entrance thought of him as The Undertaker of this generation; someone who can create something that can last a long time. He says he seems to be a young man who's really bright and will be able to keep himself fresh. He says he's afraid that Dolph Ziggler "goes a little too much in my pattern" and says that people accuse him of doing the same thing with Ric Flair. He says that once there started to be some talk comparing he and Flair he realized he was on the radar and it was time for him to differentiate himself and establish himself on his own.
"That's the one thing that I would encourage these guys to do. You let people influence you to the point where they make that comparison at the beginning but then you need to set yourself apart. And the only problem that I see with this generation is that they continue..."
He says he tells Dolph that he thanks him because every Monday night his Twitter numbers increase because he can always count on Ziggler to remind the fans of him.
