15 Things We Learned From Vince McMahon's Docuseries On Netflix

5. He Wanted To Put A Family Wedding On PPV

One can only picture the faces of complete newbies hearing some of these tales for the first time when Netflix reaches Vince's pitches for daughter Stephanie. Her face is enough of a picture! No wonder. Steph visibly squirms in her seat when asked to elaborate on erm...ideas like Vince being outed as the father of her child.

She doesn't go into detail. That had to be uncomfortable.

Netflix did squeeze more out of McMahon's plan to put Triple H and Stephanie’s legitimate wedding on pay-per-view. Hunter reveals that Steph said no, so Vince said she was “selfish” and just wasn't putting business first. Being fair, people are allowed to enjoy sacred personal events without beaming them to millions of wrestling fans.

Stephanie definitely agrees that some of the stuff her father had her do in WWE was weird, but rationalises it as “a different time in our business”. Then, she moves on to other things without hesitating. This must come out so weird and lawless to anyone new.

Worth watching with a non-wrestling fan to see their reaction.
