After getting his teeth kicked down his throat by Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 22, Vince decided to seek vengeance by booking him and his son Shane against HBK and 'God'. Their entire feud had religious overtones, with Vince constantly asking God to strike him down and claiming that Michaels' God was a false one. Although it cut pretty close to the bone for some viewers, Vince was at his hammy best as he visited a church and cut a ridiculous promo. Then came the match. God came to the ring depicted as a single spotlight. Yup. As if that wasn't ridiculous enough, Vince then ordered God to 'get jiggy with it' and started busting a move to 'somebody call my mama'. This was a thing that actually happened. Many people were offended and, considering WWE's current PG ways, WWE don't want you to remember this episode.
