15 Things You Forgot About Triple H's Rise To Power In WWE
8. He Was On Creative Way Before You Thought
The idea that Triple H attained creative power in the early 2000's and started pushing himself isn't true. He was actually on the creative team from 1997, working closely with Vince McMahon and Vince Russo on the implementation of edgy idea. How did he get this gig? Again, with his self starter attitude. He had the confidence to go to McMahon, offering him his opinions and thoughts. Because Hunter was a smart guy, Vince started listening, taking serious consideration of the ideas put forth. The result was what became known as the Attitude Era. Seriously, how can some people call Triple H bad for the business, when his creative ideas contributed to the biggest boom period in wrestling history? Later that night, Vince Russo called Hunter up, telling him he really did think that was a good idea. The result was one of the most memorable angles of the entire Attitude Era, D Generation X in army gear heading into WCW's local show.
