The story goes that Joanie Laurer was at one point in contention for a role in 2003s Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, presumed to be the lead female role of the picture. Kristanna Loken ended up taking the role of the female Terminator in that film, and Laurer has actually gone on record as saying how she blames Vince McMahon for her not landing the gig.
