3. Dean Ambrose Didn€™t Like Mick Foley (Sort Of)

In the midst of a near-classic Reality Era feud with Mick Foley, Dean Ambrose over-stepped the mark by going too personal and reportedly upsetting the WWE legend in the process. Ambrose had effectively called Foley out as an idiot for teaching the younger generation to hurt themselves for bigger pops - a genius work based on a very real idea. The feud took shape when a viral video appeared of the two at a hotel ahead of WrestleMania 28, but the action really kicked off on Twitter, where Ambrose bared all of his issues. The work included Ambrose accusing Foley of ending Edge's career by making him too hardcore, and his bragging that the office wouldn't reprimand him, as nobody cared about Foley anymore, but it took a turn for the worse when the FCW star in the making brought Foley's family into it:
"I never actually insulted Mick's dumb/blind wife or his traumatized ignorant children who think he's a good person. #lostgeneration"
That was too much, and Foley admitted later he'd privately texted Ambrose to stop, to no avail, as his potential opponent was in the UK and couldn't receive texts.

The Excuse/Apology

Ambrose subsequently deleted the tweets, but the angle only died fully when Foley failed the impact test and was told he couldn't wrestle again. Fans' loss of that feud was made up for somewhat with Ambrose's debut with The Shield.
