Is a Down even a Down if it doesn't particularly negatively impact what was otherwise a genuinely magnificent night of pro wrestling?

In the last two weeks, NXT was accused of being barren to a fault - a lack of reliance on stories, angles and promos suggested that the show wouldn't be adjusting regular course when it finally made the two-hour move.

This episode didn't really help that impression, but still flew by and offered so much incredible wrestling that maybe the black-and-gold brand have in fact found and perfected the new formula for a two-hour show?
