15 Worst Moments Of The WWE Pandemic Era

10. Raw Underground

It’s somewhat difficult to rate Raw Underground as an abject failure. WWE was clearly in a “throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks” mode last fall, and this Fight Club-Lite venture was one of those efforts.

The idea was basically thus: Shane McMahon returned to Raw and established his club, where there were no rules (except when there were). Established and unnamed wrestlers battled in pseudo-shoot UFC-style matches inside a rope-less ring. Guys like Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman and the Hurt Business battled in there, while Riddick Moss briefly seemed to be making a name for himself.

Then there was Dabba-Kato, who was supposed to be the big new star of Raw Underground, beating up everyone… until Braun took him out and he then disappeared. Kato resurfaced recently as Commander Azeez.

The biggest new star to come out of Raw Underground would be the bouncer, Big Jordan, now known as Omos. Because that’s how WWE goes.
