There has always been a crossover between wrestling and the wider pop culture world.

From Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler, to Mr. T at WrestleMania to John Stewart & Stephen Amell at this year's SummerSlam, but the effectiveness of guest appearances relies on how interested the star is in being there, and how they're booked when toe-to-toe against wrestlers.

That's why Jay Leno sits way at the top as one of the worst guest appearances at a pay-per-view ever, as he teamed with DDP to take on Hogan and Bischoff. Jay Leno's involvement wouldn't have been so bad, but he was booked to actually stand in the ring against WCW's #1 bad guy Hulk Hogan and hold his own.

Leno even got the final pinfall wrong, by placing his arm under Bischoff's neck, he lifted both of his shoulders off the mat during the deciding fall, which was counted anyway and Leno & DDP were crowned the winners.
