15 Worst PPV Main Events Ever

The first mistake WWE made when it came to the main event of WrestleMania VIII was that it wasn't Randy Savage vs Ric Flair for the WWF Championship, and was instead Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice that closed the show. 

Neither man is known for their in ring prowess, and together they put on a plodding match that couldn't live up to the standards set elsewhere on the show.

The real disaster came towards the end when Papa Shango missed his cue to interrupt Hulk Hogan's Atomic Leg Drop on Sid, so Sid became one of the few men to kick out of Hogan's supposedly deadly finisher. Even if Shango had hit his queue and made it to the ring in time, the main event of WrestleMania VIII would have still ended in disqualification which is no way to finish up the biggest show of the year.
